about

Astana, out July 1st on Gravitas Recordings, is a heavy hitting journey through the Chamberlain sound that has been making waves worldwide. Providing slamming hip-hop influenced and bass energy he calls "berserk nation" that cemented himself in the music industry for years to come.

“A lot of what I'm influenced by is hip hop from the 90's and 2000's era. I want to bring all the things I love about that era into the modern-day dancefloor bass scene”

This new EP develops his signature sound in a fresh way that current fans and new ones will love. Astana is all about the chunk. From hip hop vibes to rolling basslines, it's all about the dirty rhythms, groove and the chunk that aims to get your stomping and moving.

“Uncle Wonk” kicks off the EP with an epic build into Chamberlain’s signature wonks, packed with high energy synths and chops that create an irresistible groove. “Cash” reels in the listener with catchy vocal loops and powerful chunky bass hits to fully immerse his sound into an even heavier hitting rhythm. “Jam Nation” further builds into this fierce energy, truly feeling connected to the previous tracks with an ever evolving idea taking on new angles. “Juggernaut” slows down the pace at first and slowly builds into something even bigger, glitchy and heavy sounds wheel back into original ideas while bringing something fresh and huge. “Night Vision” takes a much deeper and darker approach while keeping the signature sound created throughout the EP, a strong end to the journey leaving the listener wanting more.
